I am writing to wholeheartedly recognize Nick Ward for blessing our marriage in October 2022. Nick was a neighbor that turned friend in our community. He opened his home for bible dialogue and connected us to senior pastors to provide marital guidance and resources.

Nick had empathy, kindness, and flexibility as we prepared for this beautiful day. He was readily available for follow up appointments to determine our requests and wishes for our day, he was ready to go for rehearsal, and showed up for us confidently and professionally on our special day.

We will forever remember and cherish this moment! Thank you Nick for making our ceremony be not only representation of us, but of gods word, love, and grace.

I want to share a bit about my friend and mentor, Nick Ward, who stepped into the role of officiant for my wedding. Though he had never officiated a wedding before, Nick approached the task with incredible dedication, making sure that Kimberly and I were centered in our faith, walking closely with the Lord as we prepared for this sacred covenant. Nick truly invested in us, guiding us spiritually to ensure our marriage would be one that honors God. He didn’t just perform a ceremony—he made it personal, filled with meaning, and centered on the deeper purpose of marriage as a reflection of God’s love. Nick went above and beyond by writing the ceremony script himself and memorizing it. His heartfelt delivery touched many, with some of my family members calling it the most beautiful ceremony they had ever attended. One thing that meant so much to me was that Nick took the opportunity to share the gospel with everyone present. I know every person in the audience heard the truth of the gospel, planting seeds for God to continue His work. Nick’s commitment to making our wedding not only a joyous occasion but a God-centered one is something I will always cherish. His role went far beyond being an officiant; he was a spiritual guide who helped us start our journey as husband and wife, focused on the covenant we’ve made with God. I cannot thank him enough for making our day truly special.
